  Debut EP and introduction to the genre of Boombox Jazz. These are tracks made for a podcast I'm part of as co-host and co-producer. We're going for the conversation happening in a cool lounge, like for example, Soho House - where I hold residencies in their New York City and Brooklyn locations. Lots of space with steady drums and Jazz-influenced interplay between instruments. If I was going to also be making the soundtrack, I would then have enough works to release 10 EPs.
  
  As a DJ, I have benefited greatly by the works of other creators. I am happy to admit that I buy 90%+ of the music that I play...even when I have friends who are the music makers, I see their release, and I go buy it.
  
  DJing since '89 and traveling the world to do it since '98, I skipped a pre-requisite at the time - which was having a record out to justify traveling gigs by touring to promote them or play them out for the fans you've earned. Mixtapes were my passport to every opportunity I've had during a magical and unique career where I am an underground darling, but also get booked to do HBO events (for 20+ years!).
  
  At the ripe young age of 51, from the kid whose formative years were spent on South 51st Street in Philadelphia, at last, I pay my respect and respect to the universe of music and all who have contributed, with my debut effort to join your world of imaginative music makers.
